Remember this little guy? Let me explain.
Last year Sidney asked Construction Boss, Pieter West Van
Huessen for a quote to dig a septic hole. His first response was to challenge
Sidney? “IF you will eat a Mopani worm, we will dig your septic hole free for
your orphanage.” After thinking and praying about it for 3 days, Sidney finally
said she would do it!! And she did! With great trepidation, she swallowed that
worm in front of witnesses.
Pieter told his guys to finish digging the hole when HHTH
returned this year. Thevani, the current manager,asked when we wanted it done,
to which we responded, “Today would be the best day because the Easter holiday
is coming.”
To our utter delight, Thevani followed through and we waited
for the “hole diggin’ machine” to show up. Janco guided him down the dirt road
to a tiny settlement where he was to turn right at a one room shack, cross over
the barbed wire fence, turn left across a field of thorns and up to the
partially dug hole.
Jabu (which means “happiness”) quickly began to dig the hole
deeper and clean out the boulder size rocks. Our new hole is now ready for the
septic man to build it! So Pastor Budeli will get that organized.
