Below, Aumawy poses in the wrap skirt and headdress that
Joyce Vandervelt’s granddaughter, McKenzie made when she volunteered to sew to
help Sidney sew.
The ladies really enjoy getting a new wrap skirt and matching
headdress.
Sidney sewed 100 sets this year.
Here, the girls titter over the men’s shorts contributed by
Sidney’s son Jerry.
They rarely get to purchase such things, so, they nearly
grabbed them out of our hands.
“HATS MADE WITH LOVE BY AN ANGEL’S HAND’S”
Audrey Diaz
asked Sidney if she could crochet hats for our many little children.
We stopped
by The Palace of Mercy Creche.
This sweet little girl wasn’t about to take Nuthin’ from a
bleached out human.
This little guy was lost in sleep, so missed out on the hats.
But we left him one by his dreams.
Janco is showing plumbing parts for a project starting Monday morning. He is
making a plan to install a septic tank at the Palace of Mercy. We will be down
“into the hole” to get the work all done. Nelson and Frank, two of our farmers
will then backfill the huge hole (by hand) around the new septic tank. The
children will have two of the very few indoor toilets in the area.

It is a small village’s version of a Kroger’s store.
Anita is the general manager for Awelani. She helps HHTH in many ways.
To show our appreciation, Sidney sewed her
2 beautiful tablecloths.
We send our gratitude... Until next time,
From the Bush with Love,
